COSTCO'S Best TV'S Of 2024 SONY , SAMSUNG, LG, TCL and HISENSE

Today’s video is a walk through of COSTCO Wholesale Club, which is an excellent place to buy your next TV. Not only is there an excellent selection from your favorite manufacturers, but their one of the few places that you can still walk into a physical store and buy at all sizes. Their return policy is also second to none. Thank you so much for watching!

You can also purchase any of the TV’S and AV equipment from our good friends at Value Electronics https://valueelectronics.com/ or you can call them directly at 914 723 3344 and ask for Robert or Wendy and please mention Brian at BRIAN’S TECH THERAPY.

Special thanks to the Amazing Jennifer Gala and her second channel HDR SUPER CHANNEL for all her amazing work seen in the intro

Bought a 75" Sony from Costco last fall. Benefits included 5 year warranty, free delivery for tv’s 55"+, Costco "Concierge" help line, Extra Sony movie credits and an upgraded remote with motion activated illumination. (Only included on this model from Costco)

Hisense QD6 has zero Reviews other than a couple of Costco walk throughs. Curious Picture quality for the price. They are calling it Quantum Dot which is normally on higher Models.

Nervous to buy another Sony. Bought the X750H in 2019 and it died 3 days ago after a massive electrical failure and LED burn in. (It looks like the screen caught fire.) I have a 16 year old Samsung 43 in and it works like a charm.

Biggest thing with buying at costco, at least for higher end OLED’s that will get decent use, is that their 5 year warranty does not cover burn in. It really stinks, but i paid a bit extra for the peace of mind with best buy.

If you buy Hisense, prepare to be left high and dry by the company.

In November, 2020 I bought a Hisense 65H9G. Picture? Beautiful. Contrast? Superb. Blacks? Fantastic. 120Hz refresh? Checked! I absolutely loved the TV and a huge step up from my 2005 Samsung 47inch IPS TV (which incidentally is still working fine).

However, after 3.5 years of sporadic use, it stopped working. The TV went into continuous reboot, complaining about running out of memory, even though I had no applications loaded. It turned out to be a known fault on the motherboard. When I browsed the internet, it appears this was indeed a common problem, with many people reporting the exact same issue. So I tried to buy a new motherboard from the Hisense website. But guess what? None available. Did some searching around on the internet, same story everywhere. So now my TV is a brick – the display works fine, power supply board is fine, but now it’s a brick.

Given this was a known issue, you would expect Hisense to either correct the fault with a recall, or at least ensure motherboards are available for replacement. But no, nothing.

So this is Hisense. Caveat Emptor. I recommend TCL as an alternative but otherwise go with a manufacturer who stands behind their product. I have no specific recommendations, but if you’ve received good service, good customer support from a manufacturer, please let me know as I’m in the market for a new TV.

I have a serious question I like playing video games probably a little to much I’m thinking about buying the 65 inch LG C3 oled tv for heavy gaming and some movie/show watching however I heard that if you play games for 6 or so hours straight you can get permanent burn-in which in my case I do a lot should I just buy it anyway or just get the Hisense 65inch U8N mini led to not have to worry about the risk because I play hours daily just about

Hi Brian, love your work. Couple of corrections needed for this video.
The S90CD with the blue graphic, rather than pink, is the 2023! Costco version of the S90C NOT the 2024 S90D. Costco added the D at the end to show it’s their 2023 S90C model with a couple of extra features. Hence the $1,599 price rather than the higher current price of a S90D. Costco’s version upgrades the audio from 40 watts to 60 watts. This is typically shown on the front lower left of the box front with the heading "Member Benefit". Several months ago S90C TVs at Costco started appearing with the blue picture rather than the pink. Thought it might have been a change over to 2nd Generation QD-OLED but never got an answer to that. Bot both the 65" & 77" S90CD Costco online as i have 40 stairs to this property. Always try to buy TVs from Costco due to shipping all the way to the warehouse floor is all palletized as you mentioned. Costco’s Direct Service is handled by their Logistics division, so it’s room of choice with $30 option for set up. Prefer getting TVs with ATSC 3.0 tuners, which like LG, the 2024 Samsungs do not have. $100 off for 2 on same order, $1,450 65", $1,900 77", 5yr warranty included, plus $150 Costco Shop Card received for each. Bot 8 of the LG C2 55" on Costco warehouse(s) liquidation for $599 each with 5yr warranty last August . Love TV’s from Costco! Wish they had LG G & Sony A95L series in warehouse but understand why they dont. All the best, Brian

Hi sense TVs have only one selling point -low price. When, not if, they have a problem you will discover that no tech wants to work on them, They are not made to be repaired.

You can buy online but that takes away from getting it now . Best Buy does not keep much in stock for flagship models anymore.

  49. Any chance you’re gonna do a “best” Costco deals on TVs around Superbowl time? They say that’s usually a great time to find a bargain.

Looking for a bedroom TV around 65”. Would like to stay below $1000 if I can. Mainly sports and streaming, no gaming. Doesn’t need to be a flagship obviously, but something with a really good picture. Not too concerned with FireTV, Google, etc built in as I run a 4K Firestick.
