I've Tested 40+ Screen Protectors – Here's my Top 5 For the iPhone 15

So Zagg released the XTR3, Otterbox released the Pro Glass and Flolab came out with a 3D glass in the last while. Wondering if they are any good? In addition to these new screen protectors, I’ve re-tested other brands who claim to have improved their products as well.

Here’s the Top 5 (w/both direct and Amazon affiliate links):

1. Flolab Nanoarmor 5 3D – Use “MRE10” for 10% off @ www.flolab.io
2. Benks Glasswarrior – https://mreh.ca/3FKMgUg

4. DBrand Tempered Glass – https://mreh.ca/3MvepSO

#reviewernotinfluencer #iphone15 #reviews

#5 ESR Armorite
-Disappointed with iPhone 15 version; inferior to iPhone 14 variant.
-Poor oleophobic coating, subpar glass strength, not as large.
-Still ranks better than 39 others, competitively priced.
-Regular ESR glass nearly as good, puzzling given the premium version’s -downgrade.

#4 DBrand Tempered Glass
-Surprisingly strong against direct impacts but edges are weaker.
-Edge strength is #26 out of 44, which is unexpected for a skin manufacturer.
-Downfalls are average oleophobic coating and installation tools.

#3 Torras/Ultra Glass
-Torras is similar to generic brands, shares the product with Ultra Glass.
-Strong oleophobic coating, good coverage, and better install tools than DBrand/ESR.
-Direct impact strength and edge durability are above average but not top-tier.
#2 Benks Glass Warrior
-Benks returns with Glass Warrior, a product with impressive oleophobic coating.
-Claims of sapphire coating and upgraded hardness don’t improve scratch resistance.
-Good coverage but doesn’t fit iPhone 15 curves well, has an unusual charge port bump.
-High price at $50, the third most expensive of 44 tested.

#1 FloLab NanoArmor 5 3D
-Anti-glare glass melds with the iPhone 15’s design.
-Exceptional durability with nearly the strongest edge strength.
-Priced at $40, higher than average but offers top-tier performance.

  2. Next time could you please use a light/lux meter to test which ones reduce brightness the least? That’s my main concern with privacy screen protectors.

Thank you great video.. what do you think of the iphone 16 products ?

  4. Is there any truth that it’s better for the screen protected to break then to not so it does not transfer the impact to the actual screen?

  5. What prevents side bubbling? I had it replaced by T-mobile, and it’s bubbling again. Am I supposed to let it sit on the iPhone until it’s sealed firmly before planting my face on it?

  6. My only complaint about this review is that hydrophobic coating and oleophobic coatings are not the same thing.

  10. Only problem with FLOLAB is that bezel on the screen! Thats a big part of the new 16 PRO the small bezels, this screen protector makes them bigger! Also cuts off the edges ever so slightly. Such a miss and disappointment 🙁

  14. I actually ordered the Flolab after watching the review, screen protector and case, but my screen protector was defective. I am versed in using protectors with the aligner bracket (Spigen), but this one came with the protector sticking out of the bracket.. it would not pop back into the bracket.. needless to say it did not work 💁‍♀️ I returned the case just on the base of product quality, I didn’t even bother trying it out, got a Nomad. Flolab didn’t send me a new screen protector, but they offered I’d wait for the new model to come out and pay for its shipping. I don’t think it’s a fair solution, providing a faulty product and have me pay for shipping of a new one..? I opted for a refund all together. In my personal experience, currently not impressed with the product.

Torres for 16 pro garbage. Cracked after first week. Not dropped. Hard to tell how but more than likely just moving around in work bag. I’m not hard on phones or screens. Going back to spigen.

You may never see this comment, but I want to take a moment to mention how much I appreciate what you do.

I recently replaced all my devices. I had no clue who you were before.

You take a scientist’s approach to sorting through the oodles of products and save me literally hours—or potentially even days.

It’s hard to trust your sources these days about this kind of thing and the clarity with which you state your impartiality is a key.

Yesterday I realized that I should buy a glass protector for my expensive phone. I was at a shop and the guy was like, “Do you want one that has privacy from people reading over your shoulder or not—that’s really the only choice to make.”

I said, “You know what? I am going to look at some reviews and come back.”

I had no intention of looking at your channel specifically. Yet once again the algorithm has brought me to you—and I use YT in a private browser so there’s no history. You are just the one doing consistent and useful comparisons.

Frankly it’s a lot of “lab work” so I’m not astonished that it’s rare to see a really thorough job.

I’m going by the 15 reviews for my 16. It’s patently clear that the Flolab stuff is what I want—same as the case I chose.

Anyhow, if you actually read this, thanks.

Decent video but u waste out time by not putting it in order or having only the best 5 no body wants to sit and learn about screen protectors we buy it once and hopefully never again so just tell me too 3-5 best so I can get on with my day

  38. I ordered a Flolab screen, and after 3 weeks of them not sending it and really poor communication, I cancelled the order. After I asked to cancel it they sent a shipping confirmation… from China. Then a confirmation that they were cancelling, then another shipping confirmation. There seems to be constant confusion on their end. The worst online buying experience I’ve ever had. Not sure why most customers report not having issues with ordering. But at least for me it was a ridiculous waste of time.

The landing strip is for the ear piece so it don’t get dust. You have it upside down

  45. The best about Zagg is you never have to buy another one. At least for me, I brought one at best buy, went outside, broke the screen protector went back inside and got another one. about 6 months later, the screen protector broke again and I went to best buy and got it replaced for free. A month later, broke it again and got it replaced for free. It sucks that it will break, but what doesn’t. I’m just saying I spent $60 for like 4 screen protectors(so far)
