In this not sponsored video review, I tested the viral and trendy mFish 4-in-1 Charging Cable. On one side of the cable, there is a Lightning connector for iPhone and a USB-C connector. On the other side, there are USB and USB-C connectors.
The cable’s advertisement claims that it supports 240W, which supposedly allows it to charge phones and other devices, such as tablets, headphones, and more, very quickly. I decided to test these claims in this review to uncover the truth and show you whether this cable is worth buying or not.
I will be testing the mFish cable against the original Lightning charging cable for iPhone, as well as against a USB-C to USB-C charging cable that I use to charge my Android phone, tablet, and VR headset. In this video, you will see clear numbers and parameters, helping you understand how fast the mFish cable can charge your phone.
If you have any questions about this cable, feel free to ask them in the comments, and I will do my best to answer, as I plan to use this cable almost every day.
It is a 240w cable..you need to use a more powerful charging block.
These charging cables aren’t “case friendly” AT ALL.
Your phone can only use a certain wattage. You can search online for the specific wattage of your phone. In addition, your power adapter/brick also has a limited wattage, which is usually written on it. Therefore, the cable itself does not affect the wattage. Simply purchase a cable that is compatible with the wattage of your phone and power adapter/brick. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra supports 45W charging, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max supports 20W charging. There isn’t even a phone with the advertised 240W charging of the cable. This is useless.
If you use our 140W E-rhino it will be more fast😉
I was given one of these cables as a Christmas gift. I like that it has the multiple options for plugs, I just use both type-c ends. It charges fast because my plug is a turbocharger but the cable is still just regular speed because of what the phone supports. I do like the fact that it’s like a 5 ft long cable though and heavy duty I have a tudia case and it is case friendly for that case. I don’t know how much they cost but for a free gift I’ll take it
Only 20 minutes faster 🙄
