The fact that it does break makes it a better screen protector than if it didn’t. This is due to physics, the energy must be distributed in order to protect the object in this case the device. Plus that amount of dust would take technical cleaning so I would say it did great but js buy a regular screen protector and lower your brightness that way people don’t see what you type and you save battery
