Is this thing better than the IETS GT600?? Which is like one of the best cooling pads in the market, i was gonna buy that one but razer released this? Is it better in cooling performance????
I use the Razer Blade 16 (4090) and I have been really worried about the fan noise…and then the temperature of the laptop when gaming.
FPS doesn’t drop (I don’t measure though…but haven’t noticed any drop in FPS) but the palmrest and the keyboard get hot.
Is this still something I can get?
Also, can the USB cable connected to the cooling pad power it?

So the Question is, Razer Blade with this Cooler or XMP with the Watercooling option. Its Hard man … dont know what should i take ? Maybe Asus Scar ? Jesus its so hard…
to be fair in my opinion it might be worth it the money cuz if it makes sure my Razer blade keeps working longer as in 1-2-3 years because the cpu and gpu are being better cooled then why not
I dont think these are for "fps gains" but rather for stopping thermal throttling
Rog Strix G15 Advantage Edition, yeah I think this is a hard pass for me. I need to replace my current cooling pad. But yeah, this ones not worth the 150 :/

I use the one from Ilano. Works like a charm! My laptop thermal throtteld very fast even after changing thermal paste etc. Now I can game with my laptop for hours. Deffinetly recommend a laptop cooler like this if you want your laptop to last
I like the clean Razer look. I am looking this this one and one for like 90 dollars for my M18R2. 10c less on the cpu is pretty great if im being honest
I wanna ask, Razer say to replace the dust filter every 3months. So do they sell the dust filter separately?
i have an MSI laptop will this cooling pad work with the MSI laptop? or nay? im just curious i have a 1660 TI laptop it is a gaming laptop. and i would like to know what i could do with this. i do have razor synapse installed on this computer too. im just wondering. because i would like to to know if this will be compatible with the laptop that im currently using.
Worth it for the mere lights alone. Got the whole ecosystem at home why not. Whats 150 nowadays anyway
Llano is the cooler I got. V12 even though my laptop is smaller it’s worth it to buy the bigger one in case I have to upgrade. I also cut open the venting on the bottom plate of the laptop so the fan could access the laptop better (don’t recommend doing that it’s just what I did) I run trading software on it and without the cooler I’d be hooped. Temps went from 88-95c to about 55-45c and it only cost me 100 Canadian peso’s. so worth it.
Edit: the llano comes with 2 filters so dust shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I’m glad that it performs well as Razer always put a lot of money into beautiful design which is why their products are always expensive. A 10 degree drop is actually at the top end of cooling pads, I’ve used many cooling pads with extreme 15 fan setups and they are always limited in the difference they can make in temps for gaming and rendering when your laptop is using maximum power. So this shows Razer’s cooling pad is designed well to have this level of performance with only 1 140mm fan. Cooling pads are worth it for reduced throttling and improved stability but also to extend the lifespan of your laptop, laptops usually die when rendering or gaming when they overheat and some chip or cap on the board get’s fried or degrades overtime from being hot all the time. I might buy this to replace my bottom cooling pad but Idk if it can compete with the 15 fan pad I already have, I use two big ones which actually works well because of their adjustable stands and they are much quieter than this razer one. 3 pads would put any laptop too high for comfortable use though 😄, 2 is the limit otherwise your wrists will be in a terrible position. When it comes to extreme gaming and rendering with computers you can never have enough cooling, that’s why world records are set with liquid helium.

The IETS GT500 is a lot better compared to this cooler by razer.

reinstall Synapse fixed mine after firmware. It’s kinda loud when low. My Main gear laptop dropped about 10C on my GPU on balanced.

I have Iets gt500 which is about 80$, very good cooling pad, just doesn’t have program control, i set it at about 40% speed and leave it like that. I don’t like Razer one cuz you can’t adjust height. 150$ a bit too much. Not saying the Razer cooler is bad.
Finally someone properly measured noise on this. Thanks. Looks like just glorified IETS/Llano. Only worth it if dynamic fan speed is important to some.

Can you make a comparison with other high end laptop coolers such as Llano or IETS? they are usually cheaper for the price. but are they also better in performance? or does the Razer cooler beat them?
