  4. My apple repair friend only uses Panzerglass as he says all the others will stratch easy. This one also get scratched, but over a longer time.
So, anything can break, just a matter of time. I think no matter what, being cautious is the best investment.
Anyway, people will do what they think is best for them, no matter what. Everyone know smoking is bad, but some still do it. Most people know it’s a bad idea to have the cellphone in a back pocket in the trousers, when going to the toilet, but still many drop the phone in the toilet.
    Cheers.

4 year old Android. $2.00 screen protector. Still looks acceptable after 4 years. Retiring phone very soon with new purchase. If you care for your phone, you should be able to use 1 protector for its entire useable life.

  7. I’d still get the e1 dollar one, because quite frankly, it still protects the phone, and buying another one is only one Dollar…. so…. (shrug).

I can’t understand why these tests are used on new phones rather than a used phone with a great screen. Such a waste of money
And a lot of money at that.πŸ˜–

  14. Slight clarification:
-The two cheaper screen protectors, don’t claim to be level 9 in hardness specifically, but claim to be "9H". The point I should have added is that 9H is not the same as 9, and that 9H is MUCH weaker, but is used by these companies because it sounds a lot like "level 9", when it actually isn’t – which you’ll see demonstrated in the video.
Thanks for watching once again, really appreciate it ❀️

  15. so the best is the 1$ one cause the screen protector is mainly for scratches and with the 1$ u can get 80 protectors that if one is messed up you just put on another one and ur scratch free again on a pristine display

No matter how expensive or cheap the screen protector is no match for the hands of kids who borrows your phone. breaks it so I go for cheaper one.

Its there to protect the screen. They all do almost equally up to the point the phoe is destryed anyway. Soend $1 get 2 and swap it when the scratches become annoying😊

Never used a svreen protector on ny currebt phone. After 5 years of daily use, my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is in almost perfect condition. There are few scratches from a cat 3-4 years ago. Cannot be seen if I am not trying to find it (display off, against light)… Display protection is a scam, considering modern phones. You all put a protector to your phone, which is much easier to scratch and break… Then you look at the scratched protector for a while. And maybe replace it. Just to do it again, because it scratches easily. You are protecting a screen to never enjoy it behind the protector. Nothing is going to happen to your screen. Nothing screen protector would save. And we are talking about 5 year old phone. 5 years of improvements + it was not a flagship phone. One more thing, nowadays, samsung has anti reflection something in displays… Do not put a screen protector on, you will lose it.

  29. I feel like you threw the baby out with the bathwater here. While the video was very useful and informative… one thing would have made it top-tier.

Remember what you are reviewing: "Screen Protectors"

I cringed when you went straight for the brick test after cracking the screen protectors with the hammer.

You should have immediately removed each screen protector to see if the iPhone screen underneath was damaged…

Then and only then would your brick test have been the icing on the cake after reinstalling a replacement of each.

We all know that a screen protector is not going to protect a phone from a train. What we wanted to know is what everyone wants to know when they see their "screen protector" cracked… "did it do its job as a sacrificial cover.

While this video was very informative, it stopped just short of excellence.

Had you completely left out the brick drop and just checked the screens after the hammer, without having to buy three more protectors for the brick test, it still would have been a much more useful video.

  30. The hammer test is probably the worst scientific test I have seen.. Even weighted marbles rolling off a consistent ledge would be a better test. The hammer is total bro-science lol

Okay I posted this before the end of the video you finally did the brick drop test on the sapphire phone but you waited till the end that’s why I posted the other two text before this but you’re right and a sapphire protected the phone screen itself so it’s not far even though it’s $80 I just want to learn more about the sapphire what percentage of how much percentage is the sapphire of sapphire? You have a good video thank you for your information p eBay you made a trick and you waited till the very last to show the brick drop test on the sapphire so I guess disregard my last two posts

But you said at the beginning of the video a sapphire screen protector is $80 198.00 basically a $200 phone so basically should I even spend $80 on a sapphire phone protector I think not I think a regular phone protector screen a five-dollar screen will be just fine for my phone because I’m not going to drop a brick on it but I enjoyed your video good good video no bricks will be dropped on my phone, I mean yeah if I was a rich person with lots of money I would probably buy the sapphire from protector that’s not going to happen but you have to also add the fact that some people like me and other people have a case on the phone which protrudes by 1/8 of an inch away from their phone screen and if they drop it by 4 ft on a regular $5 screen protector along with a case if they have a case on the phone pp so basically all in all info is most people do not need that $80 Sapphire a screen protector if they have a case on the phone A plus a case around the phone and a $5 screen protector they’re good
