JBL all the way
Should I go for bose for better bass
testing the jbl in that orientation kinda annoys me since I have one and sound quality is better when it is flat with the Front facing you
Jetzt ist Flip 6 für unter 50 Euro zu haben bei ebay
Lol, whats the song you played at 05:40 ????
i am listening to this video through my flip 6 lol
Are these speakers two channel with stereo sound?
input jack ?

BOSE is BOSS ❤
J L have nailed this sound and design wiseB. Bose always charging a premium for the brand and delivering a little less bang for buck
I have the JBL Flip 6, it’s made to lay flat for the most impressive sound. It can be submerged under water while playing music, also it is dust proof. It said to hold 12 hours of charge, but actually will hold 18 hours of charge. I’m ecstatic with my JBL Flip 6 😊😊😊😁
I returned JBL flip 6. It’s horrible on high volume, all the quality fades. Big no no. My Sony srs-xb12 keeps everything intact and better on full volume. I know flip is still better but I’m talking about the main point. Poor engineering nowadays. Why would anybody enjoy 10-15watts to get all the qualities instead of 20-30 as mentioned.
I’m looking for a portable waterproof speaker for my bathroom and that’s louder than my shower.
Any and all ideas, recommendations, suggestions appreciated.

Bose 🎉
any speaker for me has to have BOTH aux in and bluetooth – i’m often disappointed with the new speakers dropping aux in now.
I returned my Bose after less than 24 hours because it just stopped playing mid program after about six hours accrued playing time. The battery was not dead and it was still connected to lap top’s blue tooth. Can’t explain it but I decided not to exchange it for another without further research which is what I’m doing now. Also, I didn’t like that the Bose came without a user’s manual, just the obligatory warnings in every language imaginable. I did love its sound while it lasted.
The Bose is noticeably bass-y-er. One of the source materials had marginally excessive bass (distortion?) but that’s questionable. I’m expecting the EQ will give the Flip6 a similar bass response. I just bought 2 (will be here next week) and I think the price I paid was the clincher ($93 US) on sale. In my setup here, I’m using JBL studio monitors for playback…so the examples you presented (nice Binaural microphone, btw) should be accurately represented.
Question: can two units be linked to work in stereo? I’m hoping so…but even if it won’t, I’m expecting two units will broaden the sound “spatially” (referencing the Soundcore Motion X600).
Thanks again for the side by side comparison. Those were the two I was debating over.
Great review: I think the most important ‘win factor’ for the JBL should be the Bluetooth distance. The difference between having your phone within 10m of the speaker or 40/50m (as per your test) is really significant. I think that piece of info swung it for me, and the ability to EQ.
I like how the title changed to 2024 for a 2 year old video. The content is still relevant, the speakers are still for sale…. but yeah.
I like the sound of the Flex a lot, sadly the current Bose look for these portable speakers is pretty ugly. But I still prefer them than the competition.
Even charge 5 can’t beat soundlink flex
I just bought a Flip 6 and like it. The Boise sounded good also.
The Bose can receive phone calls – great for me listening in the bath 🙂 My JBL Flip 6 doesn’t. 🙁
For all around sound, JBL.
This was so helpful, thank you.
I noticed that you like the BOSS more than JBL from the start of the video by your constant glances to it whenever you look to the speakers. Your eyes always went to the BOSS whenever you talked about them 😂
Tribit XSound Plus 2 is better than all of them with less than half price of JBL and less than 1/3rd price of Bose and Marshall. It has 24 hours long battery life, a dedicated EQ button which is customisable from app and in app support, its frequency coverage is better than all three. 50Hz – 20Khz . It has bluetooth 5.3. The sound is audiophile level, trebles don’t get scorching, voice doesn’t get distorted at maximum volume, while the bass is perfect and can be felt even at 20-30% volume perfectly without overpowering mids and highs. It has a party mode and a stereo mode both and is louder than both. It’s a hidden gem in world of portable speakers and is truly sensational in sound stage, sound signature and listening experience
Magkano po yan ung bilog.sya…
All fine unless you can get any of the speakers on the offer and there is a a though choice
I fill Bose sounds better in the way that frequency ,bass, med.high feels more pared…and clean
I AM CLUMSY AND PUT MY GADGETS THROUGH A LOT, THE BOSE FLEX WORKED FLAWLESSLY FOR ME FOR OVER 3 YEARS UNTIL IT DIDN’T AND OF COURSE WHEN IT STOPPED WORKING IT WAS OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY SO I’M BUMMED OUT ABOUT THAT ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING HOW MUCH I PAID FOR IT. DOESN’T TAKE A CHARGE ANYMORE. SO I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A REMOVABLE BATTERY IN THESE TYPE OF SPEAKERS IN THE FUTURE BECAUSE USB PORTS SEEMS TO USUALLY BE THE FIRST TO GO ON ANY OF MY GADGETS,
Kudos on the review. You chose the finalists
Jbl big brother is bose
I couldnt possibly buy the JBL after hearing both in person.
Who takes a portable speaker out hiking in English weather?
The JBL is the worst sounding speaker overall but for a average consumer is not a bother at all
"now, on the flip side" lmaoo so good
I actually had to go with the SoundLink Flex because of my poor experience with JBL. One of my speakers which was JBL Charge 2+ was a pretty nice speaker but I think the capacitor for the amp has blown so it has no sound. Another speaker from the JBL was the Charge 4, excellent speaker but with no scuffs or marks after like 4 years it started to turn off and now it turns on for 3 secs and then shuts down:( It also doesn’t charge. I know this issue is related to the battery pack but honestly I want to test how much will the Bose speaker last:)
Bose is next level
i was listening to this video with my bose Flex, and it sounds fan-fukin-tastic lol
The Bose sounds better indoors but the JBL sounds better outdoors..
I love the JBL performance but I really dislike the fabric coating. It’s cannot be cleaned and it subjected to tear/abrasion.
I bought the Bose SF a few months ago. I noticed I could only charge it up to 80% Would never recharge to 100%. I tried everything. Plugged the USB charger straight into the wall, changed outlets around my house ( Kitchen & Living room) & never fully charged even @ 12 hours. I was disappointed because I’ve always liked Bose products but I returned it. 🙁
I just ordered the Bose flex as well. I have always been a big fan of the sound.
My son as the Flip 6 and i have the Bose and the Bose is simply better, more bass and superior balance sound.
With the orientation of the JBL flip 6 during the sound test I feel it was put at a disadvantage as one of the passive radiators was being obstructed due to the speaker being placed on it’s side
I prefer the JBL. Bose has more bass but JBL bass is tighter and mid/highs noticeably clearer.
Is this the flex 2 or flex 1?
JBL look very durable but There life span is so short😢
