Glad you tested the Armor 24. But I agree it’s too big for the common person’s use. However There’s the similar but smaller power armor 18, 18 T ultra, Armor 23, etc. Next year will bring other Rugged devices that have advanced specs (for a rugged phone) but just as durable (supposedly) as the Armor 24. Other companies such as Doogee, Umidigi, etc also make similar rugged devices that are compatible with many USA carriers. But I’m sure you’re aware. I don’t know about repairability . But I do know that parts such as screens and speakers are available on Aliexpress.

I really hope phone markers start making phone design similar to blackberry key 1 which is actually user friendly unlike glass slab phones.
While I would also rank the HMD phones as the most repairable this year, I have to say they’re still rather disappointing phones when it comes to that. Both have only 2 years of security updates, which is extremely low nowadays. So, by the time you might break either of them, they might become a security risk instead, and you would need to buy a new one because of that. Although, probably Qualcomm is to blame here, and not HMD
That’s why Fairphone 5 was much more deserving of that award last year, because it actually came with an industrial-grade SoC, that has about 15 years of security updates. And, this is also why I do agree on Pixel 9 getting the 2nd place this year, because while it’s not the easiest to repair, they do promise at least 8 years of security updates (I still wouldn’t take Google’s word for it tho)

Other reviewers you watch them and they are going through all the technologies then you watch this guy Jerry luring you in with his voice and then you’re watching him literally obliterate brand new devices piece by piece with close ups and ASMR (evil to the core btw 😂)….all while smiling tells me this guy is Top Villainy 😂

Your scratch test might be wrong, depending on how hard you press your picks. I’ve seen that you can even scratch a smartphone with Gorilla Glass Victus with a No. 5 pick.

I want a good smartphone so very much the one I have is a phone that was given to me I don’t think it’s worth over $100 Canadian endless screens cracked but it’s what I can afford at the moment I add an accident a few years ago and I can’t work anymore and I’m disabled so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get a phone of the caliber that is reviewed on this channel but I still enjoy the videos very much and I won’t stop watching them anytime soon and I hope he keeps making them for a very long time
