  15. The anker powerline flow is the best one out there. Been using mine for 3+ years, it works and looks like itโ€™s brand new. Plus, braided cables are the worst, they tangle so easily. The powerline flow is made of high grade silicone which prevents it from tangling.

I’m looking for a high transfer rate cable (USBC4 or Thunderbold) of 30 or 50cm that is flexible. I need to connect the iPhone 15PM to an NVMe only when coupled to a DJI Osmo Mobile 5

  25. Yeah that’s because most of the time or just USB 2.0 to with a USB-C connector is that all that’s needed for charging if you want to move data you need more wires in the cable to support USB 3.0 / thunderbolt/ alt mods

The Apple Thunderbolt cable is the perfect USB-C cable. Itโ€™s expensive but you did say perfect.

  37. For USB-C cables to deliver the best performance, the differential pairs (used for USB 3.x, USB4, or Thunderbolt data) must have an impedance of 90 Ohms. This ensures minimal signal reflection and loss, maintaining reliable high-speed communication. Impedance control is critical for both the cable and the connected PCB to avoid signal issues. For power delivery, impedance is less important, as it mainly concerns current flow, not high-frequency signals. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

To support up to 240W with USB PD 3.1, a USB-C cable needs an E-Marker chip for 5A and 48V, thick wires (e.g., AWG 20) to handle high currents without overheating, and must be certified for these power levels. Look for cables labeled โ€œ240W Certifiedโ€ or โ€œ5A USB-C PD 3.1โ€.
