I always liked Panasonic I am still Runing two very old plasma TV’s I wanted a oled for years so either LG or Panasonic ❤ not sure which though
The best tv brands are the ones without all the bs apps on them.
Philips best.
About 6 or 7 years ago, my wife and strolled into a Best Buy and settled on a Hisense, which we had never heard of, but the picture looked so good in the store, and we couldn’t beat the price. We never grew tired of how beautiful the picture looked!
Fast forward to today. We bought a Sony Bravia because it’s supposed to be the best. We have never been more disappointed (not to mention the intermittent glitch of not wanting to turn on!). Compared to the Hisense , it’s MEH. I’ll never buy a SONY again.
Not everyone has a lot of money and there is space for lesser quality brands that you might find at retailers like WALMART
Decca, ferguson, triton, redefusion,Philips, Waltham, guess the era?
Bang and Olufsen, Pioneer??
Here’s a funny question. Why don’t they make 60 inch TVs anymore?
Nice review, well done. I had an NEC moniter style TV in the late eighties, 19 inch with speaker hook ups in the back.
You guys don’t have skyworth
Love Samsung…learn how to drop stuff in the cart and wait for a lower discount price.
In a nutshell, Sony is King!!!
Sony, their longevity is just the business! Also, their remotes are just fantastic, and remotes are not often reviewed enough!
My sony Bravia is a slow as molasses and it freezes. Tired of unplugging all time
Controler stopped working after 1 year. I want throw it through the shop window I hot it from.
loved RCA
I remember Pioneer tv sets back like late 2000 s pre 2011
Best picture ever
What about pioneer ?
I have a 75 inch Sony and it seems to always be short on memory… with no way to expand it
If you had to rank your top 3 TV brands right now, which ones would make the cut and why? Let’s see who comes out on top!
For me it’s LG. Greetings from New Zealand
Q LED TV last longer??
My Panasonic plasma lasted 15 years..
I live in Europe. For me it’s always been a choice between Panasonic and Sony. Although I’ve always prefered Panasonic in the past, the fact that they don’t invest that much in mid-tier TVs anymore made me buy my first Sony TV which I have been quite happy with.
Vizio is own by Walmart? 😮😢 No wonder they fell behind Walmart is a cheap store
JVC in UK is owned by Currys (Its a high street electronics retailer) but sets are made in Turkey by Vestal who make a variety of cheap sets branded with Hitachi, Alba, Polaroid and bush. Spares are virtually impossible to get hold off and quality is pretty poor.
Sanyo was a good one too. I have had this 32 inch Sanyo for 17 years, and it’s still going.
I forgot about Toshiba! I bought a Toshiba tube TV with (almost) flat glass in the way-back-when. It had AMAZING picture (well, for 720p 😂). It made all of my VHS and DVD movies look great. Sad that they fell out of the market.
What about Bang and Olfsen televisions? In Europe, they are considered the finest on the market, bar none.
Hisense is my favorite for the value. I dont want to spend $3000 on Sony.
Not quite what you asked, but I am in the market for a gaming TV. For the speed and image contrast, the leader seems to be Samsung. With contrast nearly as good as OLED, the miniLED can run up to 240 hZ. Any feedback?
Hisense and TCL qualitywise are not really reliable and the gblishh on them is a real thing . If you want a high quality value tv def go for samsung ,LG or Sony even tho they are more expensive .
I just heard we should avoid Hisense.
U cannot really call Panasonic a Japanese brand anymore and theres nothing panasonic about them anymore there tvs are made cheaply by the likes of vestle and tcl like nearly every orher brand theres no Panasonic parts in them anymore your not getting that Japanese robust brand that we once did panasonic rapid quality decline
I had a first release 4k Bauhn Aldi 43" tv here in Australia. Purchased in 2014 and died in 2025 couple days ago. It was a banga for the price. Time to go premium now but I doubt the next tv I get will go for 10 years.
LG & Sony
Wow, my 16 yr. old Toshiba HD LCD flat screen is still going, but just lately, I noticed a thin light black line going across bottom of screen about 2/3rds of the way. I’m looking into buying a new one, but even after watching this video & reading comments, I’m not so sure.
My family and I have always owned Sony or Samsung. My last 3 tvs were 75” Samsung (2015), 85” Sony (2019) and 98” Sony (2025).
What about SHARP?
I found an old Sears color TV next to a dumpster in Alaska. With help from a friend, we took the tubes by a tube tester at Radio Shack and wound up watching lots of TV off an old box that was stained with water damage. It would take about five minutes to warm up, but the color was nice. I donated it to a rec room when I left the state and don’t know how long it lasted, but we think we gave it another ten years of life with window cleaner and a handful of new Sylvania tubes.
I have a Panasonic TV that is 22yrs old and still going 😂
LG G4 Owner here. Best TV set i had 😀
Bought a Phillips The Xtra Miniled 65"screen in Sweden are so happy With it My Sony XG95 broke so got that for 1200€ was set down 1400€ are great TV awesome picture Phillips are back ✌️👍🇸🇪🇪🇺
I current have a 65 inch LG c series and its one of my favorite tvs that I have owned. The colors are absolutely beautiful. I need another tv for my office but I don’t want to spend the same kind of money. Does anyone have suggestions for a TV that closely compares to the LG C series but a little cheaper? Thanks in advance!
How does Onn fit in value wise?🤔
Don’t buy Samsung qled tv… It had display issue and firmware updation issue within 2 years of purchase and now Samsung is asking ₹75k for repairing it
I probably won’t buy another Sony. Dead pixels really quickly and just…junky software.
I don’t know if anyone is better, but that Frame TV has my attention for my new house.
Philips my number 1
I bought a sharp Roku TV at 10 years ago. I still have and it still works like a brand new.
I still use a kuro pioneer. You missed them of the list completely.
Sony wide screen projector 55” HD last 15 years, Samsung 65” gave to my daughter 10 years old and still “running” now I bought a Sony X90L 65” is not the best TV out here but its ok for me 😉
