Normal phone screens these days are really durable whereas screen protectors can really only last one drop then u have ugly cracks over ur screen so just don’t use a screen protector even tho I drop my phone a lot and it hasn’t broken
I really don’t think that scratch resistance, even matters very much for phones. No, it’s there.Protecting the screen from cracking, when you accidentally bump it against something or drop it outright.
Cheap ones start cracking from the side their oleophobic coating does not last long. . . I am using spigen screen guard still the screen fells smooth to touch
The fact that most companies offer a lifetime warranty on their products is nice and all but you still end up paying regardless of being free. I kinda got this when I was reading my screen protector’s warranty policy.
This is the same guy to buy a 50 dollar screen protector from Apple and says it’s made in America for higher quality😂😂😂 (even though Apple has lower quality than every chinese brand)
The $20 Type Gorilla and Lito screen protectors are far beyond the $5 shit. They don’t smudge, stay crystal clear even after a year and generally have a nicer feeling. Some companies even offer warranty for your screen in case it breaks while their screen protector is on it.
Idk, but I won’t cheap out on $20 when my phone is $800-1000.
I think there are installation tools that can make it worth it to not go for the cheapest protectors. If you want a perfect alignment and dust free install. I’d say $40 is too much for that convenience but there are lots of good options sub $20.
Tbh I got one at t mobile for 35-40 and I’ve had it replaced for free like a dozen times it’s worth it if you can do it,
my one friend legit got one every month for a year after getting his new phone just cause you can,no questions 😂
What a horrible, HORRIBLE argument. Instead of relying solely on the honesty of the manufacturer of the screen protectors, why don’t you actually test the screen protector to see if it holds up to its own claims? Here’s a hint: the vast majority of don’t.
having bought $5 screen protectors for my iphone 15 after usually buying nice ones has been the biggest mistake. my old $30 spigen lasted over a year before a crack appeared and the cheap one cracked after hours
I always buy cheap ones (but that are still visibly enough) and they never disappoint me! It’s funny to see my friends paying 10x more than I did for something that is the same quality. I always try to warn them, but not everyone listens
My thing is, I’ve purchased cheap screen protectors from aliexpress and temu many many times. They just don’t last as long as the more expensive ones and don’t feel the same. My big thing is the oleophobic coating where the cheap ones always get smudges whereas the expensive ones don’t.
Hot take, but I’m gonna keep buying from ArmorSuit. Yeah they’re expensive. But they aren’t glass either and use a very different material that self heals smaller scuffs.
Rounded edges, anti-glare, thinnest if you got an onscreen fingerprint reader. I’m not paying 3 bucks for a screen protector, nor am I gonna pay 30 buck. Anything around 10-15 bucks is pretty good and value
Some cheap ones can cause rainbowing or some other weird effect on the screen. And they don’t always go from corner to corner either. They may feel worse too.
Personally, I go for the cheap ones still. Although my next screen protector will go from edge-to-edge. ESR has some that are cheaper than most others at $15 for a three pack
But they aren’t all the same because the $80 Sapphire screen protectors actually do what they’re supposed to do and live up to the 9H not that anybody should spend $80 on a single screen protector because that would just be ridiculous but it’s almost indestructible

We buy 1$ screen guard
Some of the screen protectors that are expensive aren’t actually glass they’re sapphire which is the true 9h screen protector
Dollarama. $3.50. Last a year ago easily.
Nope not all, some expensive screen protectors are made out of sapphire, cheap ones are often just normal thin glass
I buy 7 dollar one for my s23 ultra
Can we see a drop test between the expensive and cheap ones?

9h is almost always a lie because 9h is the hardness of diamonds
95% profit margin? id argue its near %1000 on a $40 protector.
Bro really thinks all those companies are telling the truth about 9h hardness💀
I Just buy spigen Screen protector
Mine cost £15 with a 6 month warranty.
No all that claim 9h are 9h, and not all that claim sapphire are sapphire, this is misleading

420
hehe
Only one that’s worth the premium is probably one made by ZAGG, and theirs actually works super great. Plus they have generous warranty
What Patrick doing 🤨🤨💀💀
I’d spend at least $15 or so, because those ones come with a tray that ensures you’ll align it perfectly
having bought $5 screen protectors for my iphone 15 after usually buying nice ones has been the biggest mistake. my old $30 spigen lasted over a year before a crack appeared and the cheap one cracked after hours
First time I see that tool that helps putting on the screenprotector. I’ve been out here struggling all this time💀
I am buying 20 pcs from alibaba 10 for me and 10 for wife. 1$ price with an install frame.😅 it’s super easy to install and just 1$.
I always buy cheap ones (but that are still visibly enough) and they never disappoint me! It’s funny to see my friends paying 10x more than I did for something that is the same quality. I always try to warn them, but not everyone listens
The are big differences in quality: scratch resistance, haptic feeling, touch sensitivity, and more

The belkin one is so worth it. Its anti-fingerprint quality really works!
Spending 40 on a sheet of glass is WILD
Hot take, but I’m gonna keep buying from ArmorSuit. Yeah they’re expensive. But they aren’t glass either and use a very different material that self heals smaller scuffs.
Yeah except they dont. Try actually test that 9H claim 🤷
Theres plenty of stress test reviews proving that more expensive screen protectors are of better quality.
lol I just got two for a dollar. It’s not that hard to install, and it is not different than the fancy ones

Same 9h but some will crack much faster than others
But have you done tests on the various protectors? It’s not all as black and white as it seems
Cheap phone screen protectors have more friction when gliding your finger across. That’s the only difference.
I’ve had a 3 dollar screen protector on for 5 months and I drop that mf every single day and it has like 2 scratches
Hold on what Is Patrick doin?🧐🧐
My glass protector from dollar tree 😂
I know that they are all 9H glass
But I’m sure they are manufactured differently
With different materials.
I would say, just go with a brand you trust.
I bought a expensive screen protector my parents have a cheap one they have gone through 5 screen protectors in 1 year I still have mine 😂
But they aren’t all the same because the $80 Sapphire screen protectors actually do what they’re supposed to do and live up to the 9H not that anybody should spend $80 on a single screen protector because that would just be ridiculous but it’s almost indestructible
best is spigen
